This has a beautiful black with green & red carved glass piece on one end and a beautiful 6~strand tassel piece on the other end.The cap piece on either end is also very detailed and beautiful !! Details: Shiny goldtone freestyle design shape. On the outside row is a total of (10) 7mm round Ivory color pearls with (10) small round Aurora Borealis faceted rhinestones on the tips. In the second row is a total of (10) 9mm round Ivory color pearls. In the middle is a shiny goldtone beaded setting with (1) X-Large Aurora Borealis faceted rhinestone in the center. Hinge closure on the back. MARVELLA is signed on the back. MARVELLA: 1911 - Present: The Weinrich Bros. Co. was founded by Sol Weinrich about 1911 in Philadelphia, PA specializing in imitation jewelry and simulated pearl jewelry under the name Marvella. Marvella Pearls Inc. was the name chosen about 1950 and around 1965 the name was changed to Marvella, Inc. Before World War II, the jewelry consisted primarily of gold plated metal topped with enamel, simulated pearls and plain and faceted beads using brilliant faceted crystal beads with rhinestone roundels as spacers. The beads, called aurora borealis, were of the highest quality with spectacular change of colors. MAR ...
