A beautiful woman, captured forever on a GENUINE, NATURAL SHELL CAMEO measuring 20x29mm... The cameo is bezel set and framed with a ribbon curl border entwined with GENUINE, NATURAL SEED PEARLS strung on wire. This is a brooch / pendant measuring 1 3/8 long by a little over 1 across. It is an antique item circa 1900 with a bail that folds under for wear as a pendant.
The brooch is crafted of SOLID 14K YELLOW GOLD WEIGHING 5.7 GRAMS. It is marked 14K on the very old style lift-up catch and the gold has been acid tested to guarantee accuracy. The condition is excellent - no damage to the cameo and I do not see any missing seed pearls. The gold is in fine shape all around. The cameo has not been cleaned, we prefer to leave antique pieces in original condition. The shell has excellent translucence; I backlit the cameo so that you can see the quality of the shell.
